How SMBT achieved the unimaginable!

Kids, the stage of a human being that is at its innocent best! The age of playing, running, having fun, falling and also, getting up! Then there are some who are challenged by the fate to be born with a congenital heart disease. Being the adventurous kids, they do not understand fear but the lives of their parents shatter worrying about how to manage the treatment. That is when, the oldest and the most prestigious name comes to the rescue, SMBT!

SMBT Heart Institute was established with a dream and vision to provide quality treatment to each every patient that knocks on its door. Recently, the institute operated 21 such children who were born with a hole in their heart, in one day. These complicated surgeries and the medical treatment was done for free of cost for these families, shading a new ray of hope in their lives! In fact, on the same day, an open heart surgery was also successfully performed on a 4 year old girl. All these children were from the surrounding cities such as Jalgaon, Nasik, Dhule, Thane, Ahmednagar etc.

The surgeries began at 7 in the morning and continued till 9 at night! This unimaginable feat was achieved by the famous Child Heart Specialist, Dr. Gaurav Varma along with a team of surgeons who had come from all over the country.
