A new Addition to SMBT Family

We believe in empowering people by providing them not only health care services but also
the right knowledge in the right manner. So we recently added a new academic Institute to our
SMBT family- SMBT INSTITUTE OF DENTAL SCIENCES & RESEARCH.
The Institute is situated in the hilly and tribal area of Nandihills, Dhamangaon, Taluka
Igatpuri in the Nashik District. Our trust’s 300 bedded fully fledged hospital has already been
running and providing health care services to people since August of 2012. The proposed
academic institute with 100 seats is now functional and open for students who wish to study Dental Science.
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS):
The Institute offers a full time four-year undergraduate course in Bachelor of Dental Surgery. The course is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and recognized by Dental Council of India, New Delhi. The Institute has well designed course and well crafted infrastructure. It has state of the art facilities to enable students to develop high degree of skills.
The dental division is looked after by Dr. Jagtap Kiran, Dean who has 15 years of experience
in the Dental field. He looks after the development of the entire dental division.

Our vision is to develop Oral Health Professionals by providing them with an institute as a centre of excellence in Oral Health Education and research in advancement of Oral Health Care Systems.
