I am currently the Managing Trustee at SMBT Educational Trust located in Nashik, India. Smt Mathurabai Bhausaheb Thorat Sevabhavi Trust is a group of charitable, educational and healthcare institutions near Nashik, India.
SMBT Educational Trust was first founded in the year 1984 with a vision to provide medical education to students and help ailing people in need of care through its multi-speciality charitable hospital. Today SMBT has broadened its horizons in the domain of education with one of the finest MBBS colleges in Maharashtra, a dental college, a separate institute for pharmacy, a nursing college and an Ayurveda institute.
With the primary aim of giving back to the society SMBT also runs the Jayhind Tribal School under my directorship which is located in Kolwade village to educate, empower and emancipate students to help them lead fruitful lives.
Connecting Lives is an initiative by the SMBT Educational Trust. It is an official Facebook page put up in order to reach out to people to make them aware of SMBT's Educational and Charitable Trust.
