The foundation stone of SMBT Educational Trust was laid in 1984, with a vision to provide higher medical education and top notch healthcare services to people in need through our multi-specialty charitable hospitals.

As a leading centre of healthcare, we thrive on innovation and strive to broaden our horizons. We constantly work towards fostering this outlook in various activities that we undertake.
It gives us immense pride to announce that SMBT has signed an MoU with the Prince of Songkla University, (Songkhla, dist. Hat Yai, Thailand) to facilitate staff, material and student exchange. It also seeks to organize joint international conferences, symposiums, and various joint training programmes.
It was a symposium in the presence of Dr. Nimit Warakul (Dean, Institute pharmaceutical sciences), Dr. Teerapol Srichana(Director, Faculty of pharmaceutical sciences), Asst. Prof. Chatchai Wattanapiromsakul and our Principal Dr. Yogesh Ushir.
Prince of Songkla University is the oldest university in Southern Thailand. With 5 magnificent campuses spread across the country, the University is committed to academic excellence, strong social responsibility and active engagement in community services. From its inception in 1967, it aims to be the premier research-intensive university in Asia and focuses on producing competent graduates. Being very deeply rooted in their culture, it also seeks to preserve their national heritage.
